My recruitment career started in 1996 and since 2003 I've been catering to life science businesses throughout Europe. It's really professionally gratifying to have found a market that I find fascinating and where I've enjoyed some success. I currently manage a team as well as working as a hands on recruitment consultant and find the balance to be a really positive challenge.

Having joined Blue Pelican late in 2007 it feels like I've found my home and I've never been happier in work. A professional high point in my time here was winning the PharmaTimes Recruiter of the Year award in 2012 and being a finalist in 2013.

Talent I'm looking for...

Professionals at all levels of expertise from entry level to global director. Typically I work with people who have a strong education in the life sciences (medics, pharmacists and PhDs). Though my network is oriented towards people with a track record in industry roles I am very supportive of aspirants to the life science sector; I have enjoyed finding many people their first roles in industry. What my candidates have in common is a strong blend of scientific expertise and an entrepreneurial spirit.
