Role: Recruitment Consultant – Life Sciences

Location: Tunbridge Wells / from home as required

Salary: Up to £27,000 basic (dependant on experience)

Uncapped commission with no desk fee. Commission structure tiered up to 20% of invoicing

The role:

We’re looking to add to our Pharmaceutical division with a full 360 Recruiter working alongside a highly motivated and well respected team with a real passion for their sector. We’re open to what specialist niche you might like to focus on, and will want you to support recruitment for multinational clients in a wide range of roles up to VP/C-Suite within that space. You will also be able to plan the expansion of your market including working with existing clients and candidates who know and trust Blue Pelican.

We’re looking for someone to work highly autonomously as part of a very tight knit and supportive team.

Our Pharma Division has been at the heart of Blue Pelican since it’s inception. We take a strategic approach to the development of our client base and enjoy a number of long term deep client relationships. Our clients range from top 5 global pharma to tiny, niche start-ups.

 

About you:

The role would suit someone with previous experience in a 360-recruitment role within life sciences. To succeed as a Pelican you’ll need:

  • A customer service focus and ‘consultative approach’
  • Outstanding listening skills
  • Confident relationship management skills
  • A commercial mindset with the ability to identify and capitalise on business opportunities globally, offering both permanent and contract recruitment services to the market
  • Proven experience in negotiation and influencing people
  • To be target driven with a real will to succeed
  • A proven ability to learn and retain complex information
  • Strong prioritisation & time management skills
  • High level verbal and written communication skills
  • Good IT literacy, specifically with Word and Outlook
